Yesterday, I finished my last class of my educational career. I've spent 20 of my 28 years sitting in a classroom, working on homework, or reading assignments. For days, months, even years I have been looking forward to this day, counting down how much longer I had to endure.
Now that it's here, I feel emotional.
I'm sad to leave the stress of assignments; it built my work ethic. I will miss being under pressure to answer questions from professors in the middle of a class; it helped me think on my toes. I will miss projects that left me at a complete loss as to where to start; they built my critical thinking skills.
Most of all I will miss those that I worked and struggled along side; they made me a better person.
